JOINT SEALANTS
Sealants are material used to close up gaps in structures and seal joints or seams. Sealing protects structures from water, dust, air, insects, and noise. The basic functions of sealants are thermal insulation, preventing and controlling water penetration, and noise mitigation.
Joints in concrete slabs can be created by forming, tooling, sawing, and placement of joint formers in order to provide relief from stresses.
Ahlia works with all types of joints: contraction, isolation or expansion, and construction joints protecting them from weathering, water, heat loss, noise transmission, fire transmission and continuous changing in size of the joint.
